David Gilmour released his solo acoustic performance of Syd Barrett’s “Dominoes.” The legendary Pink Floyd guitarist delivered the performance on May 7, 2020 during the Von Trapped Family livestream series.
“Dominoes” appears on the former Pink Floyd frontman’s 1970 solo album, Barrett, which Gilmour co-produced with Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright. The Von Trapped Family episode from which the “Dominoes” clip is taken also saw Gilmour discussing his relationship with Syd and performing “Octopus” from Barrett’s 1970 solo debut LP, The Madcap Laughs, ahead of “Dominoes.”
