Dinosaur Jr. announced 2021 and 2022 North American tour dates. The alt-rock trio’s 2021 dates will get underway with their Camp Fuzz festival in late July before kicking off the tour proper in September and wrapping up in 2022.
Dinosaur Jr. will tour around their upcoming Kurt Vile co-produced album, Sweep It Into Space, set for release on April 23 via Jagjaguwar. The band will commence their 2021 itinerary at Camp Fuzz July 27 – 30 in Big Indian, New York. The all-inclusive mountain retreat boasts performances, master classes, Q&A sessions and workshops led by the band — guitarist J Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow and drummer Murph.
Dinosaur Jr. will then hop on the road beginning September 7 in Montreal. After a concert in Toronto, the band hits the U.S. with runs through the Midwest, Texas, the South and the Northeast where the Fall 2021 leg will wrap up on November 27 in Boston in the band’s native Massachusetts.
2022 will see Dinosaur Jr. heading out west beginning on February 3 in Pioneertown, CA ahead of plays in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. The band will then hit the West Coast proper with concerts in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles among others. Dinosaur Jr. will loop back east with stops in Phoenix and Albuquerque before closing out the tour in Denver on February 26.
