Phish bassist Mike Gordon will be Freekbass‘ special guest for the next SATURDAY-NITE-ChitChat. The variety show airs on JamBase’s Facebook page this Saturday, March 13 and every Saturday at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
Each SATURDAY-NITE-ChitChat features Freekbass talking bass, spinning music and chatting with special guests. Episodes typically span an hour.
Freekbass and Mike Gordon are longtime friends and have collaborated together on a number of occasions. Additionally, Mike was the focus of Freekbass’ debut “Bass 2 Bass” column for Bass Musician magazine in October of 2018.
SATURDAY-NITE-ChitChat was launched by Freekbass last summer. The Cincinnati-based musician has welcomed a who’s who of bassists and other musicians to join him on the variety show ever since.
