89

The 2021 Grammy Awards are set to take place from today, live from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Despite releasing only one song in 2020, Beyoncé is the most nominated artist at the 2021 ceremony, leading with nine nominations. Other multiple award nominees include Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch and Taylor Swift, who each have six nominations. As for the biggest award of the night, Album of the Year, Swift, Lipa and Haim are just a few of the artists nominated.

Several winners have already been announced, with Fiona Apple taking home Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album for ‘Shameika’ and Fetch the Bolt Cutters respectively. Kaytranada also picked up two awards, snagging Best Dance Recording for his Kali Uchis collab ‘10%’ and Best Dance/Electronic Album with Bubba.

The Strokes took home Best Rock Album with The New Abnormal, while Best Rap Performance went to Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé for ‘Savage’.
