Tarriona “Tank” Ball, the accomplished slam poet and mesmerizing frontwoman of Grammy-nominated NOLA favorites Tank and the Bangas, has detailed the release of her debut poetry book, Vulnerable AF. Due out in June, the new book deals with themes of infatuation, love, and heartbreak as Tank recounts her first romantic relationship.

“I wrote this book without any thoughts of them ever seeing the light of day,” Ball explains in a press release. “I was sad, I was happy, I was vulnerable with myself and I wrote every single feeling down. So here it is, my first book of poems, Vulnerable AF.
