The Band of Heathens shared a cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Ripple.” The clip premiered on the Austin-based rockers’ Good Time Supper Club weekly livestream show and also comes as part of the group’s Remote Transmissions video series.
Previous 2021 Remote Transmissions have seen The Band Of Heathens covering Leon Russell’s “Tight Rope” with Grahame Lesh, Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” with Nicole Atkins and Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” with Nicki Bluhm and Butch Walker. But The Band Of Heathens go it alone on their acoustic version of “Ripple,” which originally appears on the Grateful Dead’s landmark 1970 album, American Beauty.
