While the ever-approaching summer concert schedule remains shrouded in uncertainty, Widespread Panic delivered fans a pleasant memory with a video of “Dyin’ Man” taken at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on 6/24/16. This concert came as the opening night of the band’s annual three-night run at the Morrison, CO venue.
This video comes as the latest in an ever-flowing stream of archival live content from the southern rock jam band. Since unceremoniously beginning a continuous–almost daily–barrage of live videos at the start of 2021, the band has released clips from its 2002 documentary, 25th anniversary run of shows, concert films, interviews, vintage TV appearances, concerts at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in 2001 and 2011, and more.

Coming in at the five-slot of the second set, both the band and the crowd are primed and ready at this point in the evening. All hands are on deck for this ‘Til The Medicine Takes track, as JoJo Hermann, Dave Schools, and John Bell all take vocal duties. Meanwhile, Duane Trucks and Sunny Ortiz pound out the rhythm, setting the course for Jimmy Herring to tee off with a solo that manages to cover quite a bit of ground in a short runtime.
