Amy Helm released a cover of Daniel Norgren’s “Are We Running Out Of Love.” The song is the latest single from the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming album, What The Flood Leaves Behind, arriving via Renew Records/BMG on June 18.
Helm announced What The Flood Leaves Behind in March and previewed the LP with the single “Breathing.” Helm tapped renowned producer and multi-instrumentalist Josh Kaufman to produce and contribute to the album, which she captured at the recording facility her father established, Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York with a seasoned studio band. Helm also graciously found time to contribute to JamBase’s Cluster Flies covers compilation celebrating the 20th anniversary of Phish’s album Farmhouse, with Amy adding a stellar rendition of “Sleep.”
“Are We Running Out Of Love,” appears on Swedish singer-songwriter and guitarist Daniel Norgen’s 2015 album, The Green Stone. Listen to Amy Helm’s version of “Are We Running Out of Love” below:
