OSEES have released three full-length LPs during quarantine and, consequently, haven’t been able to tour behind any of them. Though the John Dwyer-led garage outfit is known for a prodigious work ethic and rapid output, the band seeks to put an end to this streak. On Wednesday, OSEES announced a full-fledged fall 2021 tour of North America.
The tour is set to begin on September 7th with a two-night run at The Chapel in San Francisco before moving north up the West Coast, and eventually heading east through the United States with a lone stop in Canada on September 20th at Danforth Music Hall in Ontario. After a month on the road and traveling to 12 different states–and one Canadian province—the tour wraps on October 4th at Sister Bar in Albuquerque, NM. Each show will see OSEES joined by Mr. Elevator.
This tour comes in addition to the band’s previously announced show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 15th. Tickets for that show, as well as the entire fall tour, are on sale now.
While the band is still stuck at home Dwyer decided to go through some old boxes, one of which contained a Werewolf rug he made himself. The frontman has decided to sell off the piece in an effort to raise money for the Coalition on Homelessness San Francisco.
“I just came across this in a box at my joint,” Dwyer said. “Totally forgot i still had it. Made for an art show years ago in SF so it only feels right to sell it to benefit a great and long lasting organization in San Francisco the Coalition on Homelessness. They have lent a helping hand for as long as i can remember there. No actual werewolves were harmed in the making of this rug.”
