Tame Impala will perform InnerSpeaker in full during a livestream event from Australia later this month.
Announced earlier this week, the band fronted by Kevin Parker will play their debut album from beginning to end during the InnerSpeaker – Live From Wave House virtual event on Wednesday, April 21st. The ticketed livestream will air from the “beach shack” home studio in Yallingup, Australia where the album was recorded, which showcases 180º views of the Indian Ocean in the backdrop.
Parker and company continue to celebrate InnerSpeaker‘s 10th anniversary this spring, as the April 21st livestream follows a full reissue of the 2011 album which arrived late last month.
Tickets for the virtual performance, which will begin at 8 p.m. CT, are now on sale here.
Tame Impala released their latest studio album last year with The Slow Rush. The band was forced to scrap all of their 2020 tour dates following the arrival of COVID-19, which have since been rescheduled for 2021. More recently, the band returned to the stage for a pair of live concerts in front of 2,000 fans at Perth’s Metro City last month.
