Pink Floyd shared official video featuring their performance of “Comfortably Numb” from Knebworth House in Knebworth, England on June 30, 1990. The legendary rock band’s entire set will be released on audio (CD, vinyl and digital platforms) as Live At Knebworth 1990 through Warner Music on April 30.
Live At Knebworth 1990 was previously only available as part of Pink Floyd’s The Later Years box set. The seven-song performance saw the group go heavy on classics including “The Great Gig In The Sky,” “Money” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond, (Parts 1-5).”
Pink Floyd’s set featured on Live At Knebworth 1990 brought The Silver Clef Award Winners Concert to a close. Other performers at the fundraiser for Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity included Elton John, Paul McCartney, Genesis and Eric Clapton.
“Comfortably Numb” was originally issued by Pink Floyd on 1979’s The Wall. Guitarist David Gilmour co-wrote the song with Roger Waters who left the band in 1985 to focus on a solo career.
