Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Allison Russell made her late night television debut on Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. Russell was joined by Brandi Carlile and Brittney Spencer for a performance of “Nightflyer.”
“Nightflyer” is the opening track on Outside Child, the co-founding member of Our Native Daughters and Birds Of Chicago’s debut solo album. Outside Child was released last Friday, May 21 on Fantasy Records.
Audio featuring Allison Russell’s “Nightflyer” performance with Brandi Carlile and Brittney Spencer is available for purchase via Bandcamp. Proceeds will go towards The National Bail Out’s #FreeBlackMamas initiative. “The National Bail Out Collective is a Black-led collective of abolitionist organizers, lawyers and activists building a community based movement to end systems of pretrial detention and ultimately mass incarceration,” as per a press release.
