Big Thief will hit the road this fall for a North American tour. The band also released Live At The Bunker Studio, a live album and video footage featuring a set recorded in November 2019.
Up first for Big Thief is a show at Headliners Music Hall in Louisville on September 7. From there, the quartet hits Indianapolis, St. Louis, Lawrence (Kansas), Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, Raleigh and Richmond.
Big Thief continues the tour with an appearance at New York City’s Governors Ball Music Festival on September 25. The band will go on to end the jaunt with stops in Buffalo on September 27, South Burlington on September 28, Northampton on September 30 and Philadelphia on October 1.
Tickets for Big Thief’s fall tour go on sale this Friday, May 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
Live At Bunker Studio consists of six tracks recorded during a session at Brooklyn’s Bunker Studio. Big Thief focused on material from their two 2019 albums, Two Hands and U.F.O.F.. Marisa Gesualdi directed the November 2019 session.
