Less Than Face Productions shared video of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones performing “Big Country.” The clip comes from the renowned band’s performance at Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival in Ancramdale, New York in 1998.
Béla Fleck & The Flecktones — banjoist Béla Fleck, bassist Victor Wooten, percussionist Roy “Futureman” Wooten and saxophonist Jeff Coffin — delivered their set at Winterhawk, the forerunner to the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, on July 17, 1998. “Big Country” appears on Béla and company’s 1998 album, Left Of Cool, which arrived a little over a month before their Winterhawk performance.
