Modest Mouse presented the first live performance of “We Are Between” on Tuesday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Isaac Brock and company played the song remotely in a space where they were surrounded by plants of all different sizes.
“We Are Between” served as the lead single from The Golden Casket, a new album due out from the band this Friday, June 25 through Epic Records. The Golden Casket marks Modest Mouse’s seventh studio album and first since 2015’s Strangers To Ourselves.
Modest Mouse, who embark on a lengthy tour in support of the album this summer, recorded The Golden Casket at their Portland, Oregon studio. Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee co-produced the 12-track LP.
