Soundcheck Studios’ New Venue Set To Open In August With Pink Talking Fish Concerts

Pink Talking Fish will headline the Grand Opening Weekend for Soundcheck Studios’ new indoor venue in Pembroke, Massachusetts on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7. The New Motif will open for the Phish/Talking Heads/Pink Floyd tribute act on August 6 with Marble Eyes beginning the night on August 7.

Soundcheck Studios’ newly renovated 600-capacity room has been under construction since July 2020. The facility hosted the first concert at its 250-capacity room on October 4, 2018. Soundcheck’s partners created an outdoor space for socially distanced shows in its parking lot last year when the pandemic began. Over 125 concerts took place safely under the moon and stars just outside Soundcheck Studios’ doors. The new room boasts an expanded viewing area, a 27-foot bar, raised seating area and high-end sound and light systems.

“Throughout the pandemic, we went through an extensive renovation to expand and improve our venue with a deliberate focus on providing the best live music experience possible for both the artists and our patrons,” explained Andrew Herman, a partner in Soundcheck Studios. “We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of the new room with a two-night run of Pink Talking Fish. And of course, with special support from our friends The New Motif and Marble Eyes. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the next leg of this incredible journey.”

“Soundcheck has been amazing through the pandemic with their outdoor show experience and provided such joy to people through live music during this challenging time,” added PTF bassist Eric Gould. “It is such a pleasure and honor to be a part of their indoor grand opening weekend. We are going to make these walls vibrate with awesome energy!”

Tickets for Pink Talking Fish’s performances at the new Soundcheck Studios venue go on sale today (Friday, June 11) at 12 p.m. ET via Eventbrite (August 6, August 7). Options include VIP Deck, Raised Floor Seating and General Admission tickets.
