Steve Earle and The Dukes announced 2021 tour dates set for this summer. The celebrated singer-songwriter and his band hit the road beginning on July 1 in New Braunfels, TX with the extensive run set to wrap up in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on September 4.
After the New Braunfels kick off, the tour will make two more stops in Earle’s home state of Texas including Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth before heading through the Midwest with plays in Omaha, Kansas City and St. Louis among others. The tour then heads east through Kentucky with concerts planned for Maryland, New York State, Virginia, Vermont and New Hampshire.
A return to the Midwest features engagements in Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota ahead of a loop back through Dallas, Texas in route to a multiple-night Florida run. Steve Earle & The Dukes are also set to team up with Los Lobos for a string of shows at the end of summer hitting Atlanta, Nashville and Ashville among others. The Dukes will conclude their tour with Los Lobos on September 4 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky before Earle embarks on a brief solo tour in October with a concert in New York City and more.
Steve Earle & The Dukes are touring around their 2021 album, J.T., a tribute to Steve’s son Justin Townes Earle who sadly died last year. The band released a live video for the Justin Townes Earle-penned “The Saint Of Lost Causes.” Watch it below:
