The Wood Brothers Announce 34-Date, Cross-Country Fall Tour

The Wood Brothers have announced an extensive fall tour that will carry the band across the country from September through December. Set to kick off on September 16th in Houston, the four-legged tour will take the trio through Texas, the Midwest, West Coast, and Southeast.

Following three Texas shows in Houston, Austin, and Dallas (9/16–18); the band moves through Oklahoma (9/19, 9/20), Missouri (9/22, 9/23), and Nebraska (9/24) before heading west for shows in Colorado (9/26 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Lake Street Dive), California (10/13–15, 10/20), Nevada (10/17), Oregon (10/21, 10/23), and Washington (10/22). The Midwestern leg picks up in Minessota (11/3) as the band travels to Wisconsin (11/4, 11/5), Illinois (11/6), Iowa (11/7, 11/9), back to Missouri (11/11), and lastly Kentucky (11/13) before the final Southeastern leg takes The Wood Brothers through Florida (12/1–5), Alabama (12/7, 12/9), and the tour-closing two night run at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse (12/11, 12/12).

“This will really be the first time we get to develop the material from ‘Kingdom In My Mind’ in a live setting,” Oliver Wood said in a press release. “We were only able to play about 20 shows surrounding the album’s release in January 2020 before we had to come off the road. So it’ll be exciting to finally share these songs and see how they evolve over a good long stretch of dates.”

These new dates come in addition to previously announced summer shows for The Wood Brothers at Beak & Skiff in Lafayette, NY with Valerie June (8/13); Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA (8/14); and Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL (8/22).
