Twiddle traveled south to The Caverns on Sunday to deliver the Pelham, TN venue’s first underground concert since March 7th, 2020. The subterranean acoustic set was then followed by a full above-ground concert.
The first set saw an array of acoustic renderings of fan-favorites, including “Frankenfoote” and “Earth Mama”. The 45-minute acoustic set also featured the “Glycerine medley“, featuring a rolling train of Bush‘s “Glycerine” into Bob Marley‘s “No Woman No Cry”, into “Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show, into “Farmhouse” by Phish, and back into “Glycerine”.

Twiddle then moved above ground where the concert took on a pod format, as opposed to the GA standing-room-only first set. The marathon performance kicked off in high spirits with “Gatsby the Great” into “Canon in D” into “Hook” and finally into “Blueberry Tumble” before the band even took its first breath. The second set was highlighted by a reprisal of the finished “Gatsby” from the first set, as well as spirited takes on “Jamflowman” and the set-closing “The Box”. After three full sets of music, Twiddle returned to the stage to encore with “Hatties Jam” into “When It Rains It Pours” to send everyone home.
