Levitate Music & Arts Festival in Marshfield, MA is putting on a pop-up festival on August 7 & 8, in lieu of its anticipated full-scale festival in 2020, now set for 2022 [get your tickets here].
In response to the pandemic, the 2020 edition of the beloved New England festival was put on hold. The brand instead planned a 25% capacity for a maximum combination of good vibes and safety for all for this summer, lasting two days on the Marshfield Fairgrounds. The lineup features the festival’s signature synthesizing of roots, Americana, and New England-based music. Acts include headliners Billy Strings and Grace Potter, as well as Ripe, Trevor Hall, The Elovators, Neighbor, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Jesse Royal, Aubrey Haddard, Coyote Island, Coral Moons, and Gentle Temper.
Levitate began in 2013 as a ten-year anniversary for the surf/skate apparel brand of the same name. Years later, the festival has grown into one of New England’s premier grassroots festivals thanks to ongoing support and growing demand.
