President Barack Obama released his always highly anticipated Summer 2021 Playlist via Spotify over the weekend. As per usual, the renowned music fan’s playlist is a stellar mix of new jams and beloved classics.
Some of those classics include The Rolling Stones’ “Tumbling Dice,” Stevie Wonder’s “If You Really Love Me,” George Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord,” Bob Dylan’s “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight” and more. Obama also included more contemporary cuts like Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open,” Migos’ “Straightenin,” and Drake and Lil Baby’s “Wants and Needs.”
Obama took to Twitter to share his list as well and the inspiration behind it. “With so many folks getting together with family and friends, there’s a lot to celebrate this summer,” he wrote. “Here’s a playlist of songs I’ve been listening to lately—it’s a mix of old and new, household names and emerging artists, and a whole lot in between.”
