This year’s RockyGrass bluegrass festival will be featured in livestreams for the first time in the event’s 49-year history. Mandolin will broadcast RockyGrass 2021 live from Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, Colorado July 23 – 25.
RockyGrass’ 2021 lineup includes Béla Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart featuring Michael Cleveland, Sierra Hull, Justin Moses and Bryan Sutton as well as the Sam Bush Bluegrass Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Del McCoury Band, Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Della Mae, Tim O’Brien Band, Peter Rowan & Jerry Douglas and more.
Additionally, the festival will host a tribute to the late Tony Rice from an all-star band that includes Sam Bush, Béla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, David Grisman, Bryan Sutton, Chris Eldridge and Mark Schatz. Guitarist Tony Rice died on Christmas Day 2020.
