San Francisco Giants Announce Jerry Garcia Tribute Night

73

Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants will host their annual Jerry Garcia Tribute Night on August 10. The Giants take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Oracle Park that evening, one night after the 26th anniversary of the Grateful Dead guitarist’s passing.

Special event tickets are on sale now via the team’s website. The purchase includes a game ticket and a Jerry Garcia tie-dye t-shirt made exclusively for this year’s tribute night. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Rex Foundation, an organization created by the Grateful Dead and Family in 1983 to provide philanthropic grassroots support.

Fans can redeem their event ticket for the t-shirt through the fourth inning of the game at top of the Willie Mays ramp across from Section 314. Live music will be performed pre-game.
