Steely Dan will return to the road this fall for the Absolutely Normal Tour ’21. Frontman Donald Fagen and company will play 28 concerts in a total of 15 cities between October 5 – November 20.
The tour begins in Miami Beach, Florida with four nights at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater October 5 – 6 and 8 – 9. Additional Sunshine State stops follow in Orlando, St. Petersburg and Jacksonville. Steely Dan will go on to end October with performances in North Charleston, Charlotte, Richmond, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Fagen and the Steely Dan band bring the run to the Northeast this November. The group will play Red Bank, New Jersey on November 1 and Morristown, New Jersey November 3 – 4 and 6 – 7 before heading to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York November 9 – 10; Wallingford, Connecticut’s Toyota Oakdale Theatre on November 13 and The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on November 14. Steely Dan ends the tour at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre November 17 and 19 – 20.
Platinum tickets go on sale this Thursday, July 29 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go up for grabs to the general public via Ticketmaster on Friday, July 30 at 10 a.m. local time.
Steely Dan will release Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live! as well as their live performance of Fagen’s The Nightfly LP digitally and on CD September 24. Vinyl will follow on October 1. The upcoming sets mark the first live Steely Dan albums in over 25 years.
