Tenacious D shared a medley of The Beatles’ “You Never Give Me Your Money” and “The End.” The covers arrive digitally as well as on a 7’’ with proceeds from the vinyl benefitting Doctors Without Borders.
Tenacious D — Jack Black and Kyle Gass — continue their charitable endeavors after releasing a cover of “Time Warp” from Rocky Horror Picture Show in October 2020 to save democracy. The greatest band in the world now follows by covering their fellow GOATs, The Beatles, with the Abbey Road cuts.
The D released a statement regarding the benefit cover:
Tenacious D are paying tribute to the greatest band in the world…not themselves…The Beatles!!! In the spirit of healing the world….please enjoy tenacious d’s mashup of two classics from Abbey Road. All vinyl proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders.
