Connecticut-based quintet Vasudo featuring members of Goose begins their return from an extended hiatus with the release of new single “Blood.” Vasudo consists of Matt Campbell (keyboards/vocals) along with Goose’s Rick Mitarotonda (guitar/vocals), Peter Anspach (keyboards/vocals), Jeffrey Arevalo (drums/percussion) and Trevor Weekz (bass).

Goose formed in 2016 and have incorporated a number of Vasudo songs into their live repertoire including “Flodown,” “Tumble,” “Echo Of A Rose” and “The Empress Of Organos.” Vasudo will take the stage for the first time since 2013 on Friday, August 20 during Goose’s inaugural FRED The Festival presented by LOCKN’. FRED will be held on the LOCKN’ Farm in Arrington, Virginia August 20 – 22.

“The rock-reggae-influenced track embraces the spirit of life’s journey, presenting a subtle reminder to keep an eye out for the awe-inspiring moments we can all find in our everyday lives,” noted a press release announcing “Blood.” The track was recorded at Dreamland Recording Studios in Woodstock, New York.
