Angel Olsen unveiled her rendition of the Billy Idol classic “Eyes Without A Face.” The track is one of five featured on Angel Olsen’s upcoming ’80s covers EP, Aisles.
Aisles is due out digitally this Friday, August 20 via Angel’s Jagjaguwar imprint somethingcosmic. The five-track collection arrives on vinyl and cassette September 24.
Olsen previously shared covers of Laura Branigan’s “Gloria” and “Safety Dance” by Men Without Hats from Aisles. The EP also features Angel’s spins on OMD’s “If You Leave” and “Forever Young” by Alphaville.
Angel tracked Aisles with co-producer and engineer Adam McDaniel in the winter of 2020 at Drop Of Sun Studios in Asheville. Stream “Eyes Without A Face” below:
