Dead & Company laid out COVID-19 safety protocols for their upcoming tour. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result obtained within 48 hours will be required to attend select dates.
“We care so much about everyone involved in making this tour happen & all of you attending, so we will be requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test result within 48hrs of your event to attend select dates of the tour,” wrote the band on its social media feeds. Additionally, those in the pit for each show must be fully vaccinated. There will not be a test option for fans in the pit. Fans holding pit tickets that do not show proof they have been fully vaccinated will be moved to an alternate “non-pit” area of the venue.
“Requiring vaccinations & testing is one of the best ways to protect the health and safety of our band, crew, and fans. There are no exceptions to these policies,” stated Dead & Company in a press release detailing the protocols.
A list of upcoming D&C concerts with the policies in place are listed here. New COVID-19 protocols for the remaining shows (New York City, Philadelphia, Hershey, Chicago, West Palm Beach, Tampa and Houston) will be announced shortly.
Dead & Company kicks off their 2021 tour on Monday night at Raleigh’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park. Livestreams of all shows on the first leg are available for purchase via LiveDead.co.
