Psych-rock act Garcia Peoples laid out dates for their Fall Tour 2021. The sextet also revealed they tapped Matt Sweeney to produce their next record which will come out on the No Quarter label.
Garcia Peoples follow a pair of shows this month with an appearance at Bonnaroo on September 4 before launching the headlining tour at The Earl in Atlanta on September 5. From there, the band hits Charlottesville on September 7, Washington D.C. on September 8, Richmond on September 9 and Norfolk on September 10 ahead of a set at Raleigh’s Hopscotch Music Festival on September 11. Sarah Louise opens select dates next month.
The tour resumes with two nights at The Lilypad in Cambridge, Massachusetts September 16 and 17, a stop at Cafe Nine in New Haven, Connecticut on September 18 and appearances at the Treefort Music Fest in Boise later in the month. Garcia Peoples then embarks on the October leg of the run with Weak Signal at Pittsburgh’s Cafe Club on the 13th. It’s then off to the Midwest for dates in Detroit, Chicago, St. Paul, Madison, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cleveland, Millersville (Pennsylvania) and Philadelphia. November performances include visits to Portsmouth, Rhode Island; Woodstock, New York and a return to New Haven.
