The Grand Ole Opry has revealed the lineup for its annual set at Bonnaroo, featuring performances by Opry members Travelin’ McCourys, Maggie Rose, Dom Flemons, and more. The set will take place on Thursday, September 2nd for the first night of the festival.

This year’s lineup will also host performances by Chris Janson, Riders In The Sky, Tommy Emmanuel, Amythyst Kiah, and Chris Shiflett with announcer Bill Cody and the Opry Square Dancers. The Nashville institution will bring the heart and soul of Music City to The Farm in Manchester, TN as they broadcast the set live on the Opry’s 650 am WSM radio station.

The Grand Ole Opry at Bonnaroo has been a tradition at the festival since 2018 when the two Tennessee institutions joined together. The following year, the Opry set was moved to the Thursday opening of the festival. With no competing sets from the main What Stage—which lies dormant until Friday—attendees are encouraged to gather in That Tent for a true Tennessee welcoming.

“Like so many things this summer, this ‘Opry at Bonnaroo’ show is absolutely going to be worth the wait,” said Dan Rogers, the Opry’s Executive Producer in a press release.

The Opry performers add to the extensive Bonnaroo lineup for 2021, featuring headliners Foo Fighters, Lizzo, Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and many more. Tickets for the festival are currently sold out.
