lespecial, the genre-defying trio out of Kent, CT, has announced a lengthy run of concerts billed as the 2021 Fall RepeaTOUR. The tour takes its name from lespecial track “Repeater”, the moody, bass-heavy rocker from the band’s latest LP, Ancient Homies.
Starting on October 1st, the band will travel to upstate New York for a pair of shows before making its way to Portland, ME the following weekend to support Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at the State Theatre.
From there, lespecial will return to Kent, CT for the second annual running of overnight camping experience LeGetaway on October 16th with help from West End Blend and Cosmic Dust Bunnies. The band will round out the month with an appearance at Suwannee Hulaween on 10/28.
The Fall 2021 RepeaTOUR will continue through November with stops in Charlotte, NC (11/3); Roanoke, VA (11/4); Baltimore, MD (11/5); Asbury Park, NJ (11/6); Ardmore, PA (11/12).
On December 2nd, lespecial will head to Colorado for performance at Denver’s Cervantes’ followed by shows in Fort Collins (12/3) and Steamboat Springs (12/4, 12/5).
Next, the band will head out on a run of shows with special guest Mike Dillon Band featuring stops in Kansas City, MO (12/8); Chicago, IL (12/10); Madison, WI (12/11); and Milwaukee, WI (12/12). The tour will finally wrap up with gigs in Indianapolis, IN (12/15); Grand Rapids, MI (12/16); Columbus, OH (12/17); and Ferndale, MI (12/18).
As the band noted along with the tour announcement, “We will be carefully monitoring the Covid situation as time progresses and make appropriate decisions in conjunction with all venues and promoters as we gather more info.”
