Liz Cooper Shares ‘Feeling Good’ Single

153

Singer-songwriter Liz Cooper today unveiled “Feeling Good,” a single featured on her forthcoming Hot Sass album. The LP arrives next Friday, September 3 through Thirty Tigers.

Hot Sass is Cooper’s first album not to use the band addendum of the Stampede and follows a move from Nashville after nine years living in Music City. Liz recorded the follow-up to 2018’s Window Flowers with producer Benny Yurco at Burlington, Vermont’s Little Jamaica Recordings facility. Contributors to the 12-track LP include Yurco and longtime Liz Cooper collaborators bassist Joe Bisirri, drummer/percussionist Ryan Usher and guitarist/keyboardist Michael Libramento.

“‘Feeling Good’ is one of the first songs I wrote for this record,” Liz said regarding her new single. “It’s the recognition of a deep and nagging existential sadness that’s nearly impossible to shake.” Cooper previously shared “Hot Sass,” “Getting Closer” and “Slice Of Life” from the album.
