Singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus appeared Live On KEXP At Home. Lucy offered up songs from her 2021 album, Home Video, and more along with an interview with host Cheryl Waters for the Seattle public radio program.
After talking a bit about her experience at the Newport Folk Festival and the return of live music, Lucy’s first performance came in the form of Home Video single “Brando.” The tune saw Dacus backed by a full band consisting of guitarist Jacob Blizard, bassist Dominic Angelella, drummer Ricardo Lagomasino and keyboardist Sarah Goldstone.
Dacus and company would also perform Home Video tracks “Hot & Heavy” and “VBS.” Additionally, the session saw Lucy’s mom fittingly singing with her daughter on “My Mother & I,” a song Lucy released in 2019 for Mother’s Day.
