My Morning Jacket Announces COVID-19 Protocols For 2021 Tour

115

My Morning Jacket will require all ticketholders to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result secured within 48 hours of the show to attend concerts on their upcoming 2021 tour with a few exceptions. The band laid out the protocols on its website and can be viewed below.

Fans using a negative COVID-19 test result for entry will not have to take additional tests to attend multiple MMJ shows at the same venue. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is the only way ticketholders can enter the band’s shows in New Orleans on Halloween, in Chicago November 4 – 6 and in Denver December 29 – 31. Exceptions will be made for children under 12 who can provide a negative test result obtained within 48 hours.

Read a note from MMJ regarding the policy below:

We can’t wait to see you all on tour in a couple weeks. We care deeply about your safety, and want everyone – fans, our touring and local crew, and the band – to get in, have a great evening, and get home healthy!

For all upcoming MMJ headlines dates, ticket holders will be required to present proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of the show day*. Ticket holders using a negative test for entry will not need to get subsequent tests if they are attending multiple shows at the same venue. Children under the age of 12 must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the show. Where applicable, masks will be required for entry.

Details will be sent to ticket holders via email, and venue/promoter websites will be updating their protocols in the days and weeks ahead.

Please get a vaccine if you have not already done so. If you are flu-symptomatic or have been exposed to someone infected with COVID-19, please stay home. Please wear a mask for the duration of our shows, and please respect each other!

See you out there!

*Proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination will be the only acceptable form of entry for 10/31 New Orleans, 11/4-6 Chicago, and 12/29-31 Denver shows, except for children under the age of 12 where a 48 hours negative test result will be allowed.

My Morning Jacket kicks off the tour in Charlotte on August 27.
