Natalie Hemby shared a new single entitled, “Radio Silence.” The song is the latest preview of the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, Pins And Needles.
Fantasy Records will release Pins And Needles on October 8. The 11-track LP was produced by Hemby’s husband Mike Wrucke. The album features songs co-written by Hemby’s The Highwomen bandmate Maren Morris, as well as Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Aaron Raitiere, Barry Dean and others. Hemby shared a statement regarding “Radio Silence,” which follows the release of the album’s title track, explaining:
“This song is basically about being ghosted by a friend, only not because of a fallout, but because your friend doesn’t want to drag you into their struggles, so they shut down. I was the friend, and Rosi Golan was the one reaching out. She and I wrote this song with our friend Daniel Tashian.”
