Nine Inch Nails Cancel 2021 Tour Dates

Nine Inch Nails canceled their 2021 tour dates as COVID-19 cases continue to surge. The band was supposed to play shows in Cleveland on September 21 and 23 with and appear at the Riot Fest, Welcome To Rockville and Louder Than Life festivals.

“When originally planned, these shows were intended to be a cathartic return to live music. However, with each passing day it’s becoming more apparent we’re not at that place yet,” wrote the band in a statement on its social feeds. “We are sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment and look forward to seeing you again when the time is right.” Refunds for the Cleveland concerts are available via the point of purchase.

Riot Fest organizers announced Slipknot will perform in the Sunday headlining slot previously held by Nine Inch Nails. Additionally, Morrissey “will play Thursday curated with very special guests.”

Welcome To Rockville organizers are working on a replacement as is the Louder Than Life team.
