Pedal steel master Roosevelt Collier has announced a crop of tour dates that will take him across the United States this fall.
Roosevelt “The Dr.” Collier will begin his tour on September 17th in Jacksonville, FL and head up to Winston Salem, NC on the 18th before going west for two nights in San Francisco, CA (9/22, 23).
The tour will then head back east for a slot at Flood City Music Festival in Johnstown, PA (10/1); two nights in Cape May, NJ (10/2, 10/3); a performance in Roanoke, VA (10/6); and two nights in Pittsboro, NC as part of Shakori Grassroots Festival (10/7, 10/8).
After winding through Tifton, GA (10/9) and Greenboro, NC (10/10), Collier will link up with the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio for a pair of co-billed shows at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY (10/13) and World Café Live in Philadelphia, PA (10/14).
Following a two-night stint in Lancaster, PA (10/15, 10/16), Roosevelt Collier will join back up with the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio for a third co-billed show in at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA (10/17). Collier will round out the month with an appearance at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL on October 30th.
The Dr. will hit the ground running in his native Florida in early November with shows in Boca Raton (11/3), Jupiter (11/4), Ocala (11/5), Jacksonville (11/6), and Orlando (11/7) before heading to Brazil for a run of four shows in two cities. Finally, Collier will wrap up his 2021 fall tour schedule with two days as the artist-at-large for Lake Wales, FL’s Orange Blossom Revue (12/3, 12/4).
COVID-19 safety protocols will vary based on the location, although attendees are encouraged to enjoy safely and wear a face mask at all of the upcoming shows.
“This tour is to celebrate life through music,” Rosie says.
