Livetronica quartet The Disco Biscuits scrapped concerts originally scheduled for O’Fallon, Missouri on September 4 and Normal, Illinois on September 5. The band announced the cancelations on their social feeds and gave no specific reason for the decision.

Ticketholders will automatically receive refunds from primary ticketing partners. Any questions regarding ticket refunds should be directed towards the point of purchase.

Both concerts were set to take place at baseball stadiums. CarShield Field in O’Fallon, Missouri was slated to host the show on September 4, while Cornbelters Stadium in Normal, Illinois was supposed to be the site of the show on September 5.

The Disco Biscuits headlined Saturday’s action at the Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain festival in Ozark, Arkansas. Bassist Marc Brownstein raved about the band’s sets on Twitter. “Finally have a moment to reflect on last night’s incredible experience,” Brownie wrote. “Thanks @backwoodsbash ‘twas one of my favorite shows of the summer. It wasn’t hit you over the head, much like Saturday of Scranton last fall, it was patient, interesting, effortless but not pre-packaged.”
