The String Cheese Incident spent this past weekend at the famed William Randolph Hearst Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA. The two-night run—which featured support from Galactic on Friday and Big Head Todd & The Monsters on Saturday—came as part of the Rex Foundation‘s nationwide Daze Between celebration of the period between the anniversaries of Jerry Garcia‘s birth and death in early August.

The band also used the opportunity to welcome a pair of notable guests during the Greek Theatre run. On Friday, the band welcomed up bluegrass legend Peter Rowan, Garcia’s bandmate as part of Old & In The Way and frequent collaborator, for Rowan originals “Lonesome L.A. Cowboy” and “Sweet Melinda” during the first set.
The following night, on Saturday, August 7th, The String Cheese Incident welcomed up Todd Mohr (Big Head Todd & The Monsters) to assist the band on Grateful Dead classic “Friend of the Devil” and SCI favorite “Outside & Inside” to open set two.
