The String Cheese Incident Reschedules Charlottesville, Asheville, Wilmington Shows

54

The String Cheese Incident made the unfortunate announcement on Monday that it must reschedule concerts in Charlottesville, VA; Asheville, NC; and Wilmington, NC. The band has also chosen to cancel its shows in St. Louis, MO and at the Backwoods At Mulberry Mountain festival in Ozark, AK.

This latest announcement comes following the jamgrass outfit’s cancellation of shows last week in Ohio and Kentucky following a positive COVID test within the band. The tour was set to resume on August 17th–18th with two nights at Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre in Wilmington, but the band now says that “due to the desire to keep everyone safe during this current rise in cases of COVID” those shows will now take place in 2022.

The Disco Biscuits will fill in for Cheese’s two-set headlining performance at Backwoods on August 28th. Stay tuned to the SCI website and social media pages for additional information on rescheduled concerts. See the full announcement below.
