Lilly Hiatt shared a new single, “Lately.” The tune is the title track to the Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s upcoming album due out via New West Records on October 15.
Hiatt announced Lately earlier this month and shared the single “Been.” The track also arrived with an accompanying video created by Lilly with vintage super 8 footage filmed by her mother and recently unearthed in the Hiatt Family storage unit.
Lilly now follows with “Lately,” which also received the video treatment with direction from Dylan Reyes and premiered by The Boot where Hiatt spoke about the song and visual.
“‘Lately’ is all for you,” Hiatt said. “I’d like to let you in on the strife and hope that came from the last year for me. The song is a dream that can come true, even if that dream changes over time. Dylan Reyes took the dream and turned it into a vivid trip for our video and here it is.”
