Angelique Kidjo announced Josh Groban, Cyndi Lauper and Andra Day will be among her special guests at Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 5. Philip Glass, EarthGang and Ibrahim Maalouf are also aboard for a concert dubbed “Mother Nature: Songs For New York and the World Beyond.”
Kidjo released the album Mother Nature in June and will focus the setlist at Carnegie Hall on songs from the LP. Angélique was slated to conclude her Perspectives concert series at the historic venue on March 14, 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic led Carnegie Hall to close one day prior.
