Coldplay will hit the road next spring for a lengthy world tour with support from H.E.R. on most dates. The British rock act will travel three continents for the stadium tour that will run from March through September 2022.
Kicking off on March 18th in San Jose, CR, the tour touches down in the U.S. on April 23rd for a stop in Santa Clara, CA, followed by Los Angeles (4/26). The domestic shows include dates in Phoenix, AZ (5/3); Dallas, TX (5/6); Houston, TX (5/8); Chicago, IL (5/28); Washington, D.C. (6/1); Philadelphia, PA (6/8); Atlanta, GA (6/11); and finally Tampa, FL (6/14). Coldplay then plays international shows in Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, England, and a lone South American show at Rock in Rio Festival (9/10). All of the shows in the United States will feature support from H.E.R.

Coldplay has also pledged to cut carbon emissions for this tour by 50% compared to the band’s 2016–17 world tour. See the group’s statement below for details.
We pledge to cut our direct emissions by 50% compared to our previous tour (2016-17), and work with our partners and suppliers to reduce their impacts and emissions wherever possible. For remaining CO2 emissions we are creating a carbon fund for the drawdown of carbon via nature- and technology-based solutions.
In 2019 we commissioned a team of sustainability experts to investigate our environmental impact and carbon footprint. This has helped us to identify the key areas where we can avoid, reduce and mitigate our carbon emissions.
Using our previous stadium tour as a baseline, we have set ourselves a science-led target of 50% reduction in our CO2 emissions using the ‘absolute contraction’ method.
We pledge to drawdown any unavoidable emissions according to the Oxford Principles for Net-Zero Aligned Carbon Offsetting.
[…] Despite our best efforts, the tour will still have a significant carbon footprint. We pledge to draw down more CO2 than the tour produces by supporting projects based on reforestation, rewilding, conservation, soil regeneration, carbon capture / storage (DACCS) and renewable energy. As part of this pledge, the tour will fund the planting – and lifelong protection of – millions of new trees, including
one tree for every ticket sold.
