Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe‘s KDTU Presents: A Diesel Insane The Music Of David Bowie tribute concert at The Fillmore New Orleans has been postponed to May 5, 2022. The show was originally slated to take place on October 15.
Special guests Lee Fields & The Expressions are still aboard for the new date. The Bowie-themed concert was initially scheduled to coincide with the second weekend of the 2021 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. While this year’s Jazz Fest was canceled due to the “exponential growth of new COVID cases in New Orleans and the region,” the beloved event returns April 29 – May 8, 2022. KDTU’s Bowie tribute comes on the first night of Jazz Fest 2022’s second weekend.
All tickets purchased for October 15, 2021 will be honored on May 5, 2022. Additional tickets are on sale now here.
