My Morning Jacket are taking over SiriusXM’s Jam On 309 channel starting this Friday, October 22 — the same day the band’s self-titled album arrives — and continuing through October 31 (Halloween). While the station (Channel 309), which is available in select cars and online, will work in regular programming during the period, MMJ members will introduce songs from their new self-titled album as well as older songs. Additionally, frontman Jim James will host a track by track special and Jam On 309 will premiere live audio featuring the band’s September 10th concert at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.
Five other complete live shows from MMJ’s archives will air during the week. Jim James takes listeners track by track through My Morning Jacket for a special that first airs this Friday, October 22 at 2 p.m. ET. Replays follow each day until Halloween and the special can be heard anytime on the SXM App.
Jam On exclusively unveils audio of MMJ’s September 10, 2021 performance at Forest Hills Stadium this Friday at 5 p.m. ET. The full concert airs again on Sunday, October 24 at 12 p.m. ET; Wednesday, October 27 at 8 a.m. ET; Saturday, October 30 at 9 a.m. ET and on Sunday, October 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
