Tank and the Bangas joined forces with fellow New Orleans-based artist Big Freedia on the new single “Big.” The track and an accompanying video “sets the stage for more music to come soon” according to an announcement from the band.
Freedia and Tank And The Bangas frontwoman Tarriona “Tank” Ball star in the Marion Hill-directed video for the bounce-heavy tune, which also features the rest of the band. “This song boasts big energy from two talented New Orleans artists,” stated Tank And The Bangas drummer Joshua Johnson. “Tank effortlessly twists and turns lyrics at will during the verses only to open the stage for Big Freedia to join her on the hook. Anytime Tank and The Bangas and Big Freedia get together it’s a banga but this time it’s a BIG one!”
Tank And The Bangas released the EP Friend Goals last fall. Green Balloon, the group’s latest full-length studio album, came out in 2019.
