Kitchen Dwellers, The War And Treaty, Molly Tuttle and Ghost Of Paul Revere are among the latest additions to the WinterWonderGrass Steamboat music festival’s 2022 lineup. Also known as WinterWonderGrass Colorado, the event returns to the Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado February 25 – 27, 2022.
Other acts confirmed for WinterWonderGrass Steamboat 2022 today include Dustbowl Revival, Cris Jacobs Band, Pickin’ On The Dead, WinterWonderWomen, Drunken Hearts and The Sweet Lillies. The latest lineup additions join a bill that already featured Trampled by Turtles, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Travelin’ McCourys, Sierra Hull, Lindsay Lou and Tejon Street Corner Thieves. WinterWonderWomen and the debut of the RiverWonderGrass All-Stars are a pair of collaborative performances slated for next February’s festival.
WinterWonderGrass Colorado is the festival’s flagship event first held in 2013 before expanding with installments in California and Vermont. Organizers withstood multiple cancelations due to the pandemic but pivoted to smaller events, such as hosting Billy Strings’ Renewal event last month.
“To simply say we missed our community, the WinterWonderGrass vibrations, and the snow-covered festival is perhaps the understatement of my lifetime,” explained festival founder and producer, Scotty Stoughton. “What gets me up in the morning is knowing this is exactly what the universe intended for me to do. While we didn’t sit idle, we certainly felt the hole in our hearts. But now we get to redeem ourselves, take the pent-up energy of two years and fill the fireworks. Can’t wait to light the fuse, host our village and get back to creating memories of a lifetime.”
