The NHL’s Detroit Red Wings announced the third annual Grateful Dead Night at Little Caesars Arena. The legendary band will be honored when the Red Wings take on the New York Islanders on Saturday, December 4.
Grateful Dead Night ticket packages include a specially priced game ticket, exclusive access to a pregame performance on the Little Caesars Arena street-level concourse by Grateful Dead tribute band, Raising The Dead, and a limited-edition Grateful Dead-themed jersey. The commemorative jersey features the Grateful Dead’s iconic “Steal Your Face” logo wearing a hockey helmet flanked by Dancing Bears on each shoulder.
Michigan-based Raising The Dead has been together since June 2017 and has performed at popular venues like Comerica Park, St. Andrews Hall, Cadieux Café and others in metro Detroit. The six-piece tribute band will perform before the game, beginning at 4 p.m. The Red Wings vs. the Islanders puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
“We are incredibly excited to host the third annual Grateful Dead Night at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, December 4,” said Red Wings director of ticket sales Amanda Dennis. “This event is a fan-favorite each year, and with Raising the Dead performing this year’s pregame concert, it is sure to be a night that Deadheads will not want to miss.”
