King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard confirmed new 2022 World Tour dates. The Australian rockers’ additions include a spring run and more October concerts in North America.
A March trip to South America will be followed by U.S. dates in April, May and June. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard kick off the stateside portion of the excursion at the Event Lawn at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on April 17. It’s then off to California for stops in San Luis Obispo on April 24, Sonoma on April 26 and Petaluma on April 27 before the band’s appearance at Shaky Knees in Atlanta on April 30.
The tour resumes after a few weeks off at Cleveland’s Agora Ballroom on May 20. Next comes dates in Columbus on May 21, Millvale (Pennsylvania) on May 22, Rochester on May 24 and two nights at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont on May 25 and 26. King Gizz heads to Europe for shows in May, June, July and August but fits in a concert at Miami’s Space Park on June 18.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard previously announced October 2022 dates in North America and today added two shows. The band will play Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on October 21 and New Orleans’ Orpheum Theater on October 27.
Tickets for King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s new 2022 tour dates go on sale this Friday, November 19. Amyl & The Sniffers, Spelling and Leah Senior are among support acts for select shows. Head here for more information.
