Kitchen Dwellers laid out tour dates for their first run of 2022. The Montana-based string band, who also released a video for their “Stand At Ease” single, will mix headlining shows with gigs supporting Leftover Salmon in January and February.

The quartet opens 2022 in Colorado with two nights in Crested Butte on January 19 and 20 followed by a concert in Denver on January 21 and another two-nighter in Fort Collins on January 22 and 23. Kitchen Dwellers then headline Parish in Austin, Texas on January 29. From there, the four-piece hits the west coast with Leftover Salmon for February shows in Ashland, Oregon; Eugene, Oregon; Portland, Oregon; Seattle; Bend, Oregon; Chico, California; Felton, California and San Francisco.

Kitchen Dwellers unveiled “Stand At Ease” last month in collaboration with music industry mental health nonprofit organization Backline. The song came in honor of World Mental Health Day and was recorded earlier this year in Minneapolis with producer Cory Wong during sessions for the band’s third full-length studio album.

“It’s a big issue in the music industry. Road life escalates any mental health issue present in someone’s life, so we’re trying to talk about it,” Kitchen Dwellers wrote about mental health in a press release. “The main thing we want to do is raise awareness and create engagement with people who are struggling, but also encourage those who aren’t struggling to support the community.”

Kitchen Dwellers tapped Rob Fidel to direct the animated “Stand At Ease” video. Watch the visual below:
